Teaching & School Projects: Make An Impact With This Community Service Idea

At Further Travel, we are dedicated to giving back to the communities we visit. That’s why we have travel programs that focus on helping local kids by teaching English, coaching sports, and doing projects with them at learning centers. Read this story from past camper Hannah:

“Being able to spend time with the kids and do lessons and games with them was so rewarding. My favourite class was definitely working with kindergarten. I’ve worked with kindergartners as part of one of my placements, and I know I love the age group. They were just so much fun and so enthusiastic! It’s something I’ll remember forever.”

Most importantly, you’re doing something that the kids will remember forever, too!

All of our teaching programs include a Young Learner’s Qualification, a 30-hour accredited teacher’s course included with your application, to make sure you feel confident and ready to make a difference.

Review from camp participant Emily. "Unforgettable Experience. Camp Bali was one of the best experiences I've ever done. There's so many amazing activities you get to do whilst getting to make a difference. They provide a great balance of activities and time to relax with loads of variation in what you do each day. The reps make the trip really well organised and are there to help you with anything. They make it especially easy if you're a first time solo traveller. All the pre departure details are organised really well and you get a chance to speak to everyone before you go so it's less daunting. Camp Bali was the second camp I've done and I couldn't recommend it enough. You really will have the summer of a lifetime and make some of the best friends."
